Books to read for Pride!

Hey guys! Today I am going to list some fabulous books to read for pride month. I have both books I have and haven’t read in this list.

I think love is love and that all people are beautiful no matter what they identify as or no matter what sexual orientation they are.

At the end of this post there are some helpful links for you to educate yourself on the LGBTQ+ community.

1. Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe

I reread this book this month and loved it just as much as I did the first time. This book is a beautifully written masterpiece. I think this book should be required reading in all schools. It is such an amazing story.

2. I Wish You All the Best by Mason Deaver

I read this book last year and while I didn’t love it. This book follows a character who is non-binary. And it is written by an author who is also non-binary. I have never read any other book that follows characters who are non-binary expect for this book.

3. The Love and Lies of Rukhsana Ali by Sabina Khan

I’ve talked about this book a few times on this blog before (I think) in some of my earlier posts. This book is about a girl who is lesbian but doesn’t know how to come out to her strict Muslim parents. So when her parents find out that she is in a relationship with another girl they whisk her to Bangladesh. I really enjoyed this book when I read it!

5. Bloom

If you are looking for quick, cute summer read I would recommend this graphic novel. All about love and baking. I zoomed through this, it was super cute and the art is amazing.

Here are some books I haven’t read but would love to!!

Because I haven’t read these books I will provide a link to goodreads where you can check them out!
